Led by Chris Emmer, a Squarespace Authorized Trainer, this hands-on workshop will teach you how to use the Squarespace website hosting platform to create your own business website in four hours. No coding or website development skills required!

- Choosing a template
- Understanding layouts
- Understanding domains
- Creating new pages
- Adding content, images and video to pages
- Navigation basics
- Using starter layouts, and content blocks
- Creating forms and connecting to your email marketing service
- Styling your site - titles, heading colors, hex codes, tweaks, revert changes, font selection, and more.

How to prepare / what to bring
This is a hands-on workshop, so you will need your own laptop and power cable. Prior to the workshop you will receive a packet with your pre-workshop homework, including a suggested list of tasks to be completed before you get to the workshop. Preparing written content and gathering images/photos prior to class is encouraged but not required. Students who come prepared can complete much of their website during the workshop.
No previous design or coding skills required. Please note this course requires an intermediate level of computer literacy.
